Keeping farm animals: display
The keeping of farm animals must be timed for the competent authority.
You must notify the competent authority of the keeping of farm animals. This applies to the following animal species:
- Cattle
- Pigs
- Sheep
- Goats
- Solidungulate
- Chickens
- Ducks
- Geese
- Pheasants
- guinea fowl,
- Partridges
- Doves
- Turkeys
- Quails
- ratites,
- wild game,
- Camellias,
- other hoofed animals,
- fish from aquaculture farms,
- Bees.
After successful notification, your company will receive a registration number.
Your ad must contain the following information:
- Name
- Address
- number of animals expected to be kept on an annual average (in the case of bees: number of bee colonies),
- type of use of the animals and
- Location (in the case of migratory sheep herds, the company headquarters is considered the location).
- §§ 26 (1), 45 (1) Ordinance on Protection against the Spread of Animal Diseases in Livestock Traffic (Viehverkehrsverordnung - ViehVerkV),
- § 1a Abs. 1 Bienenseuchen-Verordnung (BienSeuchV),
- § 2 Abs. 1 Fischseuchenverordnung (FischSeuchV).
