Animals: Slaughter - Certificate of Competence
Anyone wishing to slaughter animals or stun them in connection therewith must prove to the competent authority the necessary expertise.
Anyone who has solipeds, ruminants, pigs, rabbits or poultry in the course of their professional activity
- slaughter or
- in connection with this, or
- wants to stun,
requires a valid certificate of competence from the competent authority.
The certificate of competence is issued on application if the competence is proven in accordance with the Animal Welfare Slaughter Ordinance.
- training certificates,
- where applicable, a certificate of further training, and
- Identity card.
