The operation of a craft subject to authorisation may initially be continued after the death of the owner.

If a business that is registered in the register of craftsmen with a craft subject to authorisation is continued or taken over after the death of the owner, the wife, the life partner, the heir, the executor, the executor of the estate, the estate administrator, the estate insolvency administrator, the estate trustee, the trustee of the estate may continue to run the business without meeting the requirements for registration in the register of craftsmen.

You must ensure that a management is appointed immediately.

In cases of hardship, the Chamber of Crafts may set a reasonable deadline if proper management of the business is guaranteed.
