Journeyman's examination: Part 1

The journeyman's examination part 1 is part of the stretched journeyman's examination and is taken during the training period.

In the case of a journeyman's training with a two-part journeyman's examination (so-called stretched journeyman's examination ), the first partial examination takes place after partially completed the training period, with a time interval to the second partial examination.
The classic intermediate examination is omitted in this form of examination.

The journeyman's examination Part 1 cannot be challenged independently and cannot be repeated independently before taking Part 2.

The result of the journeyman's examination Part 1 is communicated to the examinee in writing.


Apprentices must be released to take part in examinations. For the period of leave, the trainees will continue to be paid the training allowance.
