Tax Advisor: Agricultural Accountant - Authorization

Tax consultants, tax representatives and lawyers may be granted the right to use the additional designation "Agricultural Accountant".

Tax consultants, tax representatives, lawyers and established European lawyers who demonstrate comprehensive specialist knowledge in tax and business matters in the field of agriculture and forestry can be granted the right to use the title "Agricultural Accountant" in addition to the professional title.

The special professional competence must be proven by an oral examination before a technical committee, which is formed at the Chamber of Tax Consultants. Persons who have proven their special expertise through relevant training and have provided tax advice to agricultural and forestry enterprises for at least three years can be prepared for the oral examination on request.

The following persons/groups of persons and companies are entitled to use the designation "Agricultural Accountancy":

  • Partnership companies may use the designation "Agricultural Accountancy Office" as an addition to the name if at least one partner is entitled to use this designation.
  • Tax consulting firms may use the designation "Agricultural Accountant" as an addition to the company or name if at least one legal representative is entitled to use this designation as an addition to the professional title.
  • Associations, corporations under public law and associations of persons are also entitled to use the designation "Agricultural Accountancy".
