Driving licence: modification of conditions or restrictions

Conditions or restrictions entered in a driving licence may be changed or deleted upon request.

Conditions registered in a driving licence, such as the wearing of a visual aid, or restrictions, such as a restriction to motor vehicles with automatic power transmission due to physical disability, can be changed or deleted on request.

  • Previous driving licence (driving licence),
  • medical opinion or opinion of an independent expert of a technical inspection body. Please ask the responsible authority in advance which documents you must submit.


Conditions and restrictions are entered in the form of key figures in the driving licence (box 12).
