Miscarriage: Certificate
Upon request, the registry office issues a certificate of miscarriage.
A miscarriage (womb fruit that was stillborn and weighs less than 500g) can be reported by a person who would have been entitled to personal care in the event of a live birth to the registry office in whose jurisdiction the miscarriage occurred. At the request of the notary, the registry office issues a certificate.
Proof that a miscarriage has taken place, for example:
- Maternity passport,
- certificate of miscarriage from the hospital;
- if applicable, certificate of burial of the miscarriage;
- Proof of identity: identity card or passport of the person indicating it.
