Driving licence: renewal of the licence for categories C and D Unfortunately this specification of service has not yet been completely translated.

Holders of a truck or bus driving licence must have their driving licence renewed regularly.

Holders of a driving licence of categories C, C1, CE, C1E, D, D1, DE or D1E (truck/bus driving licence) must have their driving licence renewed regularly.

  • Current photograph: frontal image according to international standards (biometric photograph),
  • official photo ID (identity card, passport),
  • previous driving licence (driving licence),
  • ophthalmological certificate/expert opinion (must not be older than 2 years),
  • medical certificate (must not be older than 1 year)
  • Certificate of good conduct (only in the case of renewal of the driving licence of categories D),
  • if the age of 50 is completed when the application for the renewal of the driving licence of categories D is submitted, an additional occupational health or occupational health certificate must be provided.
