The senior citizens' pass is intended to make it easier for older people to maintain contact with their peers and to participate in social life.

Some municipalities offer a senior citizens' pass for senior citizens and early retirees.

With the Senior Citizens' Pass, it is possible to visit museums or exhibitions, for example, free of charge or at a reduced rate, to take part in lectures, training courses, excursions or various other activities.

The aim of the Senior Citizens' Passport is to make it easier or possible for older citizens to maintain contact with their peers and to actively participate in social life.

The Senior Citizens' Pass must be re-applied for annually.
