Severe disability Application for consent to the dismissal of severely disabled people

Compared to non-disabled people, severely disabled people have additional protection against termination of employment. The dismissal of a severely disabled person is only effective if the employer has received the prior consent of the Integration Office.

Consent to termination is required for

  • ordinary or extraordinary terminations
  • Change Notices
  • Termination of employment relationships without dismissal due to occupational disability and temporary disability or disability

The intended dismissal can only be pronounced when the consent of the competent authority has been given and the decision has been served.

Documents may be required. Please contact the competent authority.

The application for consent to the intended termination must be submitted in writing or electronically to the competent authority.

Please note: For applications for consent to termination, electronic access is only opened via the Virtual Post Office (VPS) of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate.
