The state blind enamay is a voluntary benefit of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, which is granted independently of income and wealth. Under certain conditions, blind people and by severely limiting vision are provided to blind people. It is used to compensate for the additional expenses caused by disability.

Applications and forms are received in consultation with the relevant district or city administration.

In the case of higher additional expenses due to blindness, benefits of income- and wealth-related assistance for the blind may be applied for in addition to the national allowance for the blind (see also the help for the blind). The regulations according to the BVG apply to war-blind people.
