Driving licence: reissue/re-issue Unfortunately this specification of service has not yet been completely translated.
Anyone driving a motor vehicle on public roads is generally required to have a driving licence. If a person proves to be unsuitable or unfit to drive a motor vehicle, the driving licence authority shall revoke his driving licence. This applies in particular if there are illnesses or defects or if there have been significant or repeated violations of traffic regulations or criminal laws and thus the suitability for driving motor vehicles is excluded. A driving licence may be reissued only on request after withdrawal and after the expiry of the blocking period which may have been fixed.
