Give participation to social group work

Social group work is an outpatient offer of youth assistance. The aim is to compensate for developmental difficulties and behavioural problems through social learning in the group. It is therefore particularly suitable for older children and adolescents. Through discussions and social learning in the group, those affected should learn how to difficulties to overcome, building self-confidence and respect for other opinions. Usually the group meetings take place several times a week and last one to two hours.

Please check with the Youth Office which documents you must present.

The Youth Office assesses your case and decides whether social group work is an appropriate measure for your child. It helps you with your application and also advises you on other help options. If the aid is granted, all parties will jointly draw up a support plan. It sets out the procedure, objectives and duration of the aid. The Youth Office regularly reviews the progress of the aid.
