Architects' list registration partner company

Professional persons may, in so far as they are self-employed, carry out their professional tasks in accordance with Section 1 of the Rhineland-Palatinate Architects Act in a partnership within the meaning of Section 1 (1) of the Partnership Society Act (PartGG).

Preconditions
A partnership with its registered office or branch in Rhineland-Palatinate, in which at least one professional or a professional is involved, must be entered in the register of companies at the Chamber of Architects. The partnership agreement must stipulate that the professional obligations under Section 2 are also observed by the partnership. Professionals involved in a partnership are each obliged to take out professional insinuated insurance to cover the damage resulting from incorrect professional performance and to maintain it for the duration of their participation in the partnership; professional indemnity insurance must provide for a five-year after-liability. The minimum insurance amount for each insured event is EUR 1.5 million for personal injury and EUR 300,000 for property and property damage. The insurer's benefits for all damages caused within one insurance year may be limited to twice the minimum amount of insurance. The competent body within the meaning of Section 117 (2) of the Insurance Contracts Act is the Chamber of Architects.
The application will be submitted to the Registration Committee of the Chamber of Architects of Rhineland-Palatinate for a decision. The Registration Committee is a judicially independent body which checks whether the conditions for an entry are met.
