Apply for motor vehicle assistance (motor vehicle assistance) for people with disabilities
Persons with disabilities can receive benefits to reach the workplace for employment in the general labour market (participation in working life) and equal participation in life in the community: for the procurement of a motor vehicle for the necessary additional equipment to obtain a driving licence (driving licence) for maintenance for the costs associated with the operation of the vehicle. Motor vehicle assistance is provided to an appropriate extent as a cash benefit (e.B subsidy for motor vehicle or driving licence) or in kind (e.B. provision of the vehicle for use). The benefits are income- and wealth-dependent. The corresponding cost contribution is determined individually. Only in exceptional cases is the granting of a loan possible, e.B. if assets to be used exist, but cannot be used in the short term.
When applying for integration assistance, you will need, for example, depending on the facts of the case. proof of disability, Tax assessment, proof of pension of the previous year Proof of assets Further information on the required documents can be obtained from the responsible social welfare office.
If the beneficiary is of legal age but is unable to drive a motor vehicle himself due to his limitations, a claim for motor vehicle assistance may exist to the extent of the additional expenditure required due to the disability; in particular, the costs for the necessary additional equipment, maintenance and the costs associated with the operation of the motor vehicle are proportionately eligible. This regulation also applies analogously to minor beneficiaries.
Persons who are significantly restricted in their ability to participate in society due to a disability or who are threatened by such a significant disability are entitled to benefits. They receive integration assistance benefits if and as long as, according to the specific nature of the individual case, in particular according to the type or severity of the disability, there is a prospect that the task of integration assistance can be fulfilled. Persons are at risk of disability for whom the occurrence of the disability is to be expected with a high degree of probability according to professional knowledge.
