You have been living in Germany for at least five years without interruption with a residence permit. Your livelihood as well as that of your relatives is secured by fixed and regular income. You are insured in the statutory health insurance or have a permanent or automatically extending health insurance cover. You have paid contributions to the statutory pension insurance or to another pension scheme with comparable benefits. You have sufficient knowledge of German as well as basic knowledge of the German legal and social order. You have enough living space for yourself and your family. There are no grounds for expulsion or other reasons of public security or public order which preclude the granting of the EC permanent residence permit.
