You must submit measurement reports on air pollutant emissions to the competent authority for examination.

As the operator of a large combustion, gas turbine or internal combustion engine system, you are obliged to have the emissions of certain air pollutants determined at regular intervals by a recognised expert in order to monitor emissions of certain air pollutants. A measurement report shall be drawn up on the results of the measurements and submitted to the competent authority for verification.

The emission measurement report for discontinuous measurements (individual measurements) must comply with the requirements of Directive VDI 4220 Sheet 2 (Annex A: Model report for emission measurements).

The official requirements for the implementation of the emission measurements as well as for the presentation of the emission measurement report are derived from the approval notice as well as the regulations of the 13th BImSchV.

In the future, the emission measurement reports will be submitted via the online portal "EMBE-Online".
