Testing facility for plant protection products Recognition
An experimental facility is an official or officially recognised body with its own organisational, material and human resources for the purpose of carrying out tests to determine the effectiveness of plant protection products. Experimental facilities operated or set up by a private or public institution may be officially recognised on request.
The application for official recognition must be made in writing. The existence of the conditions for recognition must be demonstrated by the addition of appropriate documents.

Recognition shall be granted if: 1. employs a permanent investigator with a degree in agricultural, horticultural or forestry or similar sciences and having at least two years of professional experience in carrying out such tests; 2. a suitable deputy is appointed for the investigator; 3. a sufficient number of qualified staff is employed; 4. Appropriate for the proper execution of the test (a) premises in sufficient numbers; (b) laboratory and outdoor equipment; (c) experimental areas to a sufficient extent and (d) greenhouses and climatic chambers where necessary Available 5. the test guidelines to be used are known to the staff and are available to the staff; 6. keep a list of ongoing and completed trials for authorisation purposes, and 7. all records carried out in the course of the experiment are kept.

Written application (not formal) with the addition of all documents proving the fulfilment of the conditions Inspection of the test facility, including logging If necessary, the granting of conditions and/or reclaim of documents If all the conditions are proven to be met, the formalised certificate of recognition, which is valid for a period of five years, will be issued.
