Payment of the pension for survivors of war victims

If a victim of war has died as a result of injury, the widow, the surviving partner, the orphans and the relatives of the ascending line are entitled to a survivor's pension. The pension will be paid to an account of you or a third party living with you in a domestic community. If you wish, the pension can also be paid free of charge as a payment order by Deutsche Postbank AG to your domicile or habitual residence. In special cases, the pension may be paid in cash to the competent administrative body.
