Doctors who have completed their training within the European Union, the European Economic Area or Switzerland can apply for an approval.

For the foreign documents proving the completed medical training, confirmation of the authenticity of the original documents by the Hague Apostille or by legalization by the German Embassy is required. The competent authority may, if necessary, request further documents.
