Advanced training event for the acquisition of expertise according to the Chemicals Ozone Layer Ordinance: Recognition

Anyone who wants to carry out certain work on facilities or devices containing ozone-depleting substances must meet personal requirements for certain work in accordance with § 5 paragraph 1 of the Chemicals Ozone Layer Ordinance (ChemOzonSchichtV). The required expertise is proven, among other things, by participating in a training event.

This training event must be recognised by the competent authority.

No documents are required.

Preconditions

A training event to be recognised must impart the knowledge required for the respective area of responsibility. This includes knowledge of

  • Plant engineering,
  • the relevant regulations, directives and generally accepted rules of technology, and
  • the essential properties of the substances and preparations/mixtures concerned and the hazards associated with their use.
