Distance learning: Admission Unfortunately this specification of service has not yet been completely translated.

Distance learning courses which are not exclusively for leisure and entertainment must be approved by the State before they can be offered.

Before admission, distance learning courses are checked to see whether the specified course objective is achievable with the distance learning course.

Distance learning must be consistent with the objectives of vocational training under the Vocational Training Act (BBiG) or other vocational training legislation, according to the content, duration or objective and the nature of the implementation. Both the technical side and the didactic access are examined. In addition, advertising and information, the activities of representatives and the drafting of the contract must comply with the requirements of the Distance Learning Protection Act (FernUSG).

Approved distance learning courses receive an admission seal with an admission number. This registration number must be included in the information material by the organisers as a verifiable indication of the State authorisation granted
