Production of forest propagating material directly from the starting material: display Unfortunately this specification of service has not yet been completely translated.

The harvest in an approved seed harvest stock, a mother's quarter or a seed plantation must be notified to the competent body three working days before the start.

The harvest of forest propagating material shall be notified to the competent authority in good time. It is only permitted if the raw material is approved in accordance with Section 4 of the Forestry Propagation Goods Act (FoVG). This means that the seed harvest or seed plantation must be authorised.

Unless the competent authority prohibits the harvest, the harvest may take place. Only registered forest seed and plant holdings may carry out the harvest. The forest owner or his representative is obliged to supervise the harvest, set up a collection point and maintain a collection list. If the propagating material is to be transported from the collection point to the first recipient, a master certificate shall be issued by the competent authority. This accompanies the original goods.
