Waste disposal Collectors, carriers, dealers and brokers of waste / Hazardous waste

Collectors, carriers, dealers and brokers of waste must notify their activities in accordance with Paragraph 53 of the KrWG before the competent authority is admitted. Collectors, carriers, dealers and brokers of hazardous waste require the permission of the competent authority in accordance with Section 54 of the KrWG.

The advertisement may be submitted electronically using the form on the homepage of the Central Coordination Centre ( www.zks-abfall.de ), via the Single Contact Point or in writing using the form in accordance with Appendix 2 of the Notification and Authorisation Ordinance. The application for authorisation may be submitted electronically using the form on the homepage of the Central Coordination Centre ( www.zks-abfall.de ), via the Single Contact Point or in writing using the form in accordance with Appendix 3 of the Notification and Authorisation Ordinance. The documents to be attached to the application are listed in Section 9 (3) of the Notification and Authorisation Ordinance.


Preprints are for an advertisement pursuant to Paragraph 53 of the KrWG and an application for a permit under Paragraph 54 of the KrWG for the electronic procedure on the homepage of the Central Coordination Office (www.zks-abfall.de) and for the written procedure in Annexes II and III of the Notice of Notification and Authorisation Ordinance or on the website of the LUNG Available.

Preconditions
The persons responsible for the management and supervision of the company must have the necessary reliability and expertise. The detailed requirements are listed in Sections 3-5 of the Notice and Authorisation Ordinance.

Hints
Anyone who fails to file a complaint pursuant to Section 53 (1) sentence 1, does not correctly, not fully or not in due time, may be fined up to EUR 10,000 in accordance with Section 69(3) of the KrWG. Anyone who collects, transports, trades or makes use of hazardous waste without permission may be fined up to EUR 100,000 in accordance with Section 69(3) of the KrWG.
