Surveillance industry - Proof of information

According to Paragraph 34a(1) sentence 3(3) (3) Of the German Trade Code (GewO), the right to operate a guarding trade must be refused if the applicant does not prove by a certificate from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry that he has been informed and is familiar with the legal provisions necessary for the exercise of the trade (proof of information). The information procedure shall be subject to: Persons wishing to carry out the guarding business independently in accordance with the first sentence of section 34 a (1) of the GewO in the case of legal persons, the legal representatives insofar as they are directly involved in the carrying out of guarding tasks the persons entrusted with the management of the commercial enterprise Other employees who are to be engaged in the performance of guarding tasks in accordance with Section 34 a (1) sentence 5 of the GewO The information for persons Nos 1 to 3 requires at least 80 hours of instruction. At least 40 hours of lessons are required for group 4. One lesson is 45 minutes.

Registration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

The information shall be given orally. The person to be taught must have the German language skills indispensable for the exercise of the activity and for understanding the information procedure.
