Would you like to know where the boundaries of your parcel run or where the boundary stones are?
To do this, you must give the Landesbetrieb Geoinformation und Vermessung (LGV) or a publicly appointed surveyor (ÖbVI) an informal order in writing.
The boundaries of the parcel are then established by on-site surveying and instructed to you.
The boundary points are marked by markers (boundary stones).
Further tasks:
  • Definition and securing of load areas
  • On-site border negotiations in the event of unclear conditions and discrepancies regarding the course of the border
  • Determination of distance dimensions for
    • buildings to the border
    • trees to the border
  • Certificates on parcel-related facts
Information on which parcels of land the boundaries are to be established for.
  • You own the parcel:
    • Evidence of this, for example, through a purchase contract, extract from the real estate register or extract from the land register
  • The plot of land belongs to several owners:
    • Consent of all co-owners
  • You do not own the parcel:
    • a power of attorney from the owner

Preconditions

  • The parcel is their property.
  • If you do not own the parcel of land, you need a power of attorney from the owner.
  • In the case of co-ownership of a plot of land, everyone must agree to the measurement.
  • Leaseholders are also entitled to place orders.
  • An order can only be placed in writing.
