Passport, duplicate
Unfortunately this specification of service has not yet been completely translated.

In principle, only one valid passport is issued per person.
If proof of a legitimate interest is provided, however, additional passports that are valid at the same time can be issued.
  • 1 biometrically readable passport photo from the latest time (35x45 mm without border, background light and monochrome. Sample - see link Federal Ministry of the Interior).
  • ID card or passport
  • Proof of the need for a second passport, e.g. B. Certificate from the employer about frequent trips abroad or travel confirmation for trips to certain countries.

Preconditions

  • People who travel a lot for work and whose passport often has to be handed in to the embassy of the destination country for a longer period of time in order to be able to issue a visa.
  • People who travel to countries that do not accept visas from other countries (e.g. travelers to Israel if the passport already contains visas from Arab countries).

Hints

A second pass is only valid for 6 years.
