Business de-registrations, Hamburg Chamber of Crafts
Unfortunately this specification of service has not yet been completely translated.

In accordance with Section 14 of the Trade Regulations (GewO), every trader is subject to the obligation to notify, which is why business de-registrations are mandatory. The trade de-registration can only be done personally in the Chamber of Crafts. With every business de-registration, a message is sent to - the responsible tax office - the Chamber of Industry and Commerce or the Chamber of Crafts - the respective professional association - the state office for occupational health and safety. If a representative is to make the report for you, his / her personal visit to the trade registration office is required. The representative needs a written power of attorney and must be able to identify himself.
ID card or passport with last registration certificate.

Hints

A trade can also be deregistered by a person who can be shown to have been authorized in writing by the trade owner. Business de-registrations are also accepted in the district office of the company headquarters and in the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, an online procedure is also available (see related links).
