Information from the building load register
Unfortunately this specification of service has not yet been completely translated.

Construction charges are obligations of the property owner to do, tolerate or refrain from doing certain things that affect the property.
You can obtain information and excerpts from the building load index from the regional office for geographic information and surveying.
For the establishment or deletion of building loads, please contact the responsible building inspection office of your district office.

Free information as to whether a building load is registered on a property or not is given by telephone.

For excerpts from the building load index with personal data , the following evidence is required for data protection reasons
  • a proof of eligibility or
  • a power of attorney from the landowner or leaseholder (see link power of attorney)

Receive information with owner information
  • the landowners themselves
  • Leaseholders, authorized agents and notaries
  • Other persons if they demonstrate a legitimate interest

  • The customer center of the State Office for Geoinformation and Surveying has been closed to the public since May 11th, 2020.
  • Information from the building load index can now be ordered online. For further possibilities see link distribution channels.
  • It is not possible to order by telephone.
  • You can get more information by calling 040 42826 5720.

Even before the introduction of the building load index in 1969, building load-like loads or restrictions, such as farm communities, may have been established.
So far, not all of these could be included in the building load register of the State Office for Geoinformation and Surveying.
These encumbrances, which are not entered in the building load register, can still be effective.
Documents about this can perhaps still be found in the building or property files at the responsible district building inspection offices.
