The secondary school prepares for the world of work and work. In addition, it enables young people to continue their education, especially in vocational and study-qualifying courses. The course leads to the secondary school leaving certificate in the simple and the qualifying form. The teaching in the secondary school is based on the content and learning techniques developed in the primary school. The methods are age-appropriate and lead students to self-responsible learning. In terms of content, the provision of key qualifications is of great importance. Practical and action-oriented teaching is the focal points of pedagogical work; they are complemented by project days and interdisciplinary projects. The pupils of the secondary school take part in a final procedure in year 9. This consists of two parts: the central thesis in the subjects German, mathematics and, if necessary, the first foreign language, as well as a project examination. After completing the secondary school leaving certificate, students are not only able to enter dual education and offer a wide range of opportunities for further education.
