Feed control

Official feed monitoring covers all levels of feed production and trade, as well as farms. The legal basis for these checks is the EU Control Regulation (Regulation (EC) No 882/2004) together with the feed control programme for the years 2012 to 2016 " of the BMEL, BVL, BfR and the Länder This programme focuses on: The control is intended to prevent risks in the food chain from being transferred to humans via animals.
