Apply for a parking card for severely disabled people

Under certain conditions, severely disabled people are allowed to park in places where this is not normally permitted. Eligible persons can also use the parking facilities as a passenger, a separate driving licence is not required. Proof of entitlement is the parking card in connection with the written exemption, which explains and limits the individual exceptions. Note: The parking card must be clearly visible behind the windscreen of the parked car, the exemption must always be carried. "Blue parking card" (EU-wide) The "Parking card for severely disabled persons with exceptional walking disabilities, blind and severely disabled persons with double amelie or phocomelia or with similar functional limitations" on a blue background is issued as a European parking card. It entitles all EU Member States to parking in severely disabled parking spaces (wheelchair driver symbol) and allows for further facilitation such as: Up to 3 hours parking with limited stop ban (sign 286, 290 StVO) under certain conditions, parking in restricted traffic areas Up to 3 hours of parking in resident parking spaces "Oranger Parking Card" (germanywide) With the orange "parking card for special groups of severely disabled people" parking facilities also apply nationwide as the above examples. Attention: This CARD does not entitle you to park in parking spaces for the severely disabled (wheelchair driver symbol)

Application Severely disabled card or proof that the conditions have been met for the "blue parking card": a photo (newer photo, without headgear, dimensions: 35 x 45 mm) for authorised representative: written authorisation and identity card of the applicant (also in certified copy)


Preconditions
Eligible groups of persons Parking pass "Blue" severely disabled people with an exceptional walking disability (note aG) blind people (mark Bl) Severely disabled persons with double amelie sores or phocomelia or with similar functional limitations (although the time limits which require the parking disc to be used do not apply) Parking pass "Orange" severely disabled people with the marks G and B and a degree of disability (GdB) of at least 80 for malfunctions on the lower limbs alone (and the lumbar spine, as far as these affect the walking ability) severely disabled people with the marks G and B and a GdB of at least 70 for malfunctions on the lower limbs alone (and the lumbar spine, as far as these affect the walking ability) and at the same time a GdB of at least 50 for functional disorders of the heart or respiratory organs severely disabled people suffering from Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis if there is a GdB of at least 60 severely disabled people with artificial intestinal outlet and at the same time artificial urinary discharge if there is a GdB of at least 70 for this purpose

You must apply for a parking card in writing as a data-affected person or authorised representative. The competent authorities usually provide forms for simplification.
