Boundary assessment

The property register contains the national and up-to-date proof of all land and buildings in Hesse that are important for real estate. Together with the Land Registry, it ensures the protection of property on land and confers it on transport and credit. If the boundary of your property is unclear and / or the border marks (e.g. boundary stones) are missing, you can have the boundary points proven for your property in the property register transferred to the location as part of a border determination procedure. If you wish, the boundary points thus identified can also be permanently identified (marketed) by border marks.

A border determination or demarcation procedure is carried out at the request of the owners of a property concerned.
