Funding in day care for children

Day care for children is used for the education, education and care of the child by a day mother or father and is usually an offer of public youth assistance, i.e. the youth offices of the counties and cities. A child who has reached the age of one is entitled to support in a day care facility or day care until the age of three.

After the age of three until the start of school, there is a right to support in a day care centre. The child can be supported in special need or in supplementary care. This usually also applies to school children.
