Events on public ground Unfortunately this specification of service has not yet been completely translated.

Anyone wishing to hold an outdoor event on public streets or squares requires a permit from the public order office (so-called special use permit in accordance with § 18 of the Bremisches Landesstraßengesetz).
Typical examples of such events are music events, stand concerts (if there are more than five people), cultural events, sports events and information events.
Especially if you would like to hold an event in the city centre (e.g. market place or Domshof), it is advisable to first contact the public order office by telephone to clarify whether the desired space is available for the planned date.
The cleaning of the used area as well as costs for any necessary traffic signs must be borne by the organizer.

Note
For events on public green spaces the Umweltbetrieb Bremen is responsible. Contact over mailto:ines.barth@ubbremen.de or under the telephone number 0421/361-4188.
