Broadcasting fee in the private sector Unfortunately this specification of service has not yet been completely translated.
The radio contribution covers all radios, smartphones and computers within the apartment as well as the private cars of all residents. If a resident pays the radio licence fee, the obligation of all persons living in the apartment to pay the fee is covered.
Owners of a secondary residence who can prove that they are the owner of a flat and who can pay a radio licence fee can be exempted from their obligation to pay a licence fee for the secondary residence upon application.
The changeover to the radio contribution is automatic unless you provide other information.

There is no obligation to pay contributions for a vacant apartment. The condition is:
- that no one lives in it and
- for which no rental agreement exists and
- for which no person is registered with the residents' registration office either.
