List of general sworn interpreters Registration Interpreters and translators domiciled or established in other State
The list of interpreters and translators contains information on the interpreters and authorized translators generally sworn in by the Presidents of the Regional Courts of the Land of Brandenburg. In particular, the list contains the following information: the name, the address, Telecommunications connections, the language for which the general swearing-in or authorisation has taken place, whether the registrant is acting as an interpreter or translator, the day of general swearing or empowerment. interpreters and translators from other EU/EEA States the professional title which complies with the rules of the State of establishment The personal data for which the interpreter or translator has given his consent will be published on the Internet in the federal interpreting and translator database (Section 6(5) Ordinance on the Implementation of the Brandenburg Interpreting Act). Interpreters have the right to appear in court nationwide on the basis of their oath of office (see Section 189 paragraph 2 of the Court Constitution Act). The authorisation of translators by the competent authority of a federal state is accepted nationwide.
You attach the proof and information about your swearing-in as an interpreter or authorisation by the District Court of Potsdam to the application.

You will send your application for inclusion in the register of interpreters and translators in writing to the District Court of Potsdam (Section 6(5), second sentence 2 of the Law on the General Swearing of Interpreters and The Authorisation of Translators of the Land of Brandenburg). If the prerequisites are met, you will be included in the list of interpreters and translators. If you have given your consent to the publication of your personal data, they will be published on the Internet in the federal interpreting and translator database (Section 6 (5) Ordinance on the Execution of the Brandenburg Interpreting Act).
