Tuition fee survey

All courses of study at the universities of the state of Brandenburg with the exception of continuing education courses are free of tuition fees.

No tuition fees are charged for a course of study up to the first professional qualification and for a study in a consecutive course of study that leads to a further professional university degree.

However, you must pay the following fees and fees when enrolling:

  • Semester fees of the Studentenwerke
     
  • Contributions of the Student Body (General Student Committee)
     
  • Fees for the semester ticket
     
  • Enrolment fee
     
  • partial administration fees

In special cases of hardship and to compensate for disadvantages, the universities sometimes provide for possibilities for exemption from fees. Information on this can be obtained from the universities.

Tuition fees for a second degree or if the standard period of study is exceeded will not be charged.
