Permit to acquire and possess weapons and ammunition for several persons

Granting of a permit for the acquisition and possession of weapons and ammunition for several persons

A gun ownership card for firearms held by several people may be issued to those individuals. A gun ownership card can also be issued to a shooting sports club or a hunting association as a legal entity. It must be subject to the condition that, before taking possession of club weapons, the association of the authority must, without prejudice to the existence of the requirement of § 4(1)(5), appoint a responsible person for whom the conditions laid down in Paragraph 4(1)(1) to (3) have been proven; this designated person does not have to be an organ of the association with the power of representation. If the designated responsible person leaves the association or if all the requirements according to § 4 para. 1 no. 1 to 3 are no longer met in his person, the association is obliged to inform the competent authority immediately. If the association does not appoint a new responsible person within two weeks for whom the requirements according to § 4 para. 1 no. 1 to 3 are proven, the gun possession permit granted to the association must be revoked and the gun possession card returned.
