Birth register expression
A certified expression from the birth register (previously the birth register) shows all the data entered by the registry office in connection with the birth. You will receive the document, including any marginal comments, either as a new printout from the electronic register (if your registry office has already kept it) or Copy or exact copy of the birth record from the birth register. In addition to birth information (including time of birth and additional parental information), the term also includes subsequent changes, such as adoption or name change. The exact time (hour and minute) of your birth may also be communicated to you by the registry office upon request, without the need to issue a certificate. The expression from the birth register is issued by the registry office which certified the birth. If the birth is recorded in the electronic civil status register of a registry office in Brandenburg, it is also possible to obtain a register expression from any other Brandenburg registry office.
Identity card or passport (in case of written order: certified copy) in the case of application / collection by representatives: written authorisation of the entitled person whose ID where applicable, proof of legal interest
