Voters' register for the Bundestag election Registration

Information on entry in the voters' register for the Bundestag election

For each constituency, the municipality maintains an official voters' register. In principle, voters who are registered in the municipality with their main residence on the 42nd day before the election are entered ex officio in the V voters' register and receive a voter notification no later than the 21st day before the election.

If you have not received a voter notification by the 21st day before the election, you should immediately check with your municipality whether you are registered on the voters' register. If this is not the case, you can apply for registration.

If you have a different situation, e.B. moving into the municipality after the 42nd day before the election or permanent residence as a secondary residence, please contact the municipal election authority immediately.
