Particularly gifted children often have a harder time than "normally" gifted children. If their special talent is not recognised and supported, this can lead to a rapid decline in performance and severely limit the child's motivation to learn. Parents and teachers are therefore particularly challenged when it comes to discovering and promoting a special talent.
