- If storage would involve disproportionate effort and expense, a lost property may be auctioned before the storage period has expired.
- At the end of the retention period, the lost property will be sorted by the responsible agency. Any non-lost property that cannot be auctioned and any lost property containing data that cannot be erased will be disposed of in compliance with data protection regulations.
- The items are not tested for functionality. Bicycles are not tested for roadworthiness.
- The following principle applies to all auctions held by the responsible authority: Purchased as seen!
- You have no warranty claims due to any defect in the purchased item.
- By appointment, you can view the lost property to be auctioned.
- Due to space constraints, you won't be able to view any bicycles before the auction. During the auction, the bikes will be clearly displayed for everyone to see.
- Under certain circumstances, the auctioned item can also be sent to you by mail. A fee will apply.
