If your mobility is restricted due to your disability, you may need special transport options. You can then apply for a transport allowance or transport budget to cover all or part of the additional costs you incur.
If you

• If you need a special vehicle with a ramp to transport your wheelchair, you can be granted up to 120.00 EUR per month.
• If you require a special vehicle with a ramp and assistance when entering/leaving your home or regularly visited destinations because these are not accessible without barriers, you can be granted up to EUR 160.00 per month.

If you can prove that you have a justified need, the transport allowance can be increased for two months per year. You will then receive an individual transport budget for your justified individual case. You must provide proof of all travel costs with a receipt.
If you regularly have a higher transport requirement because you

• engage in intensive volunteer work
• need to maintain particularly important contacts
• participate in interest or sports groups that are essential to you in order to counteract your isolation

then you can also be granted a year-round individual transport budget.
