Information about Rights & Duties
If you want to hire out employees to a third party, you generally need a permit to do so.
If you intend to lay off a large number of employees in your company, you must notify the Employment Agency in good time.
If the equalisation association of which you are a member dissolves or you leave the equalisation association, you will have to take care of your obligations towards the Künstlersozialkasse (KSK) yourself again.
If you have given up or discontinued your business or, under certain conditions, are only commissioning artistic or journalistic services to a minor extent, you must inform the Künstlersozialkasse (KSK).
If you are unable to pay the current claim of the Künstlersozialkasse (KSK) on time, you can apply to the KSK for payment relief.
If you are a foreign employer that employs staff in Germany, you must give notification of this through the Minimum Wage Notification Portal. The same applies if you are a German employer employing foreign temporary workers.
If you run a company that is liable to pay social security contributions, you can reduce the time and effort required to prepare the annual reports by forming a compensation association with other companies. This association assumes the obligations towards the Künstlersozialkasse (KSK).
