If you lose your job or your apprenticeship, you can apply for unemployment benefit so that you are financially secure.
If your income or assets are not sufficient for your necessary subsistence, you will receive assistance for subsistence (social assistance) under certain conditions.
If you wish to apply for unemployment benefits, you must register as unemployed electronically in the specialist portal of the Federal Employment Agency or in person at the employment agency responsible for your place of residence.
As a certified training provider, do you want to provide individual support to young people in difficult circumstances? You can receive funding from the Jobcenter for this.
If you are looking for or starting a new job or training program, you can, for example, have your expenses for application documents or for travel to an interview reimbursed by your employment agency.
If you receive unemployment benefit II and would like to become self-employed or are already self-employed, your job centre can support you with necessary purchases of material goods and with free advice and training.
If you are not compulsorily insured under the unemployment insurance scheme, you may apply for insurance on a voluntary basis under certain conditions.
