  • The institutions of the following institutions shall appoint one or more animal welfare officers and notify the competent authority of the appointment:

    • establishments where animal testing is carried out on vertebrates or cephalopods,
    • establishments in which vertebrate animals or cephalopods intended for use in animal experiments are bred or kept, including for the purpose of supplying them to third parties;
    • establishments where vertebrate animals are killed for scientific purposes;
    • establishments in which organ and tissue removal is carried out for purposes other than scientific purposes; 

  • If you, as the owner of a company that is allowed to handle or trade in explosive substances, order responsible persons in accordance with Section 19 of the Explosives Act, you must notify the competent authority of the order. The expiry of an order must also be notified.

  • If you have newly appointed or dismissed an immission control officer or if there have been changes in his area of responsibility, you must report this to the responsible immission control authority.

  • If the craft business manager meets the requirements, then he or she is entered in the craftsmen's register.

  • As a sponsor of facilities where animal experiments and similar activities are performed, you must appoint one or more animal welfare officers and notify the competent authority of the appointment.
