  • As a pet owner, you can receive a subsidy from the Hessische Tierseuchenkasse. The aid is intended to reduce losses caused by animal diseases.

    The cases in which the Tierseuchenkasse grants aid are laid down in the statutes governing benefits. In particular, you can receive aid for:

    • Damage caused by animal loss for which you will not receive compensation
    • other damage after official measures

    You will only receive the allowance for animals for which you have to pay contributions to the Tierseuchenkasse. The following are liable to pay contributions:

    • Horses
    • Cattle
    • Pigs
    • Sheep
    • Beehives
    • Poultry

    The amount of the individual subsidies can be found in the performance overview of the Hessische Tierseuchenkasse.

    Hint: You will not receive any aid if you already receive compensation for animal losses under the Animal Diseases Act.

  • In many municipalities you can receive funding for your cultural project.

  • Promotion of the different areas in popular sport including prevention and health promotion through sport in Hesse.

  • If a plot of land belonging to or attached to a common hunting district is damaged by cloven-hoofed game, wild rabbits or pheasants, the hunting cooperative shall compensate the injured party for the damage caused by the game.

  • If you have examinations carried out in your livestock for the prevention or control of animal diseases, you can apply for aid under certain conditions.
    You can apply for aid for the consulting services of animal health services.

  • The financial support serves to secure the useful, protective and recreational function of the forest, its increase as well as the improvement of the production, working and sales conditions in forestry.

  • Cultural projects in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern can receive funding from the state under certain conditions.

  • Funding is provided to educate and counsel the general population on infection risks and preventive behaviors to counteract or contain the further spread of HIV infection.

  • Implementation of the EU Common Agricultural Policy

  • All-day schools cover the lower secondary level (grades 5 to 10) of general education schools. They create a variety of additional interesting and stimulating learning, leisure and care opportunities for the students with their supplementary teaching offers, among other things in cooperation with extracurricular partners, where the focus is on promoting the individual learning process.

    All-day schools are generally established and operated in a bound form and provide an all-day offer for all pupils on at least three days a week, comprising at least seven time hours* per day.

    *These seven time hours also include regular classes.

    On all days of the all-day program, the participating students are provided with a warm midday meal.

    The actual organization of the all-day program on site is the responsibility of the individual school in accordance with the pedagogical concept.

    Full half-day primary school

    Full half-day schools are elementary schools with fixed opening hours that integrate additional educational offerings into the half-day schedule in addition to compulsory instruction. The time frame can be up to six hours and takes local conditions into account. With the establishment of a full half-day school, the educational design options of the school are expanded. The time and daily planning of families is facilitated.
