If you complete training in a recognised training occupation in accordance with the Vocational Training Act (BBiG), there is a final examination at the end of the training. The final examination is taken by the competent body (usually a chamber).
To be able to take part in the final examination, you must be admitted to the examination by the competent body. Details about the subject of the examination and the examination procedure can be found in the respective training regulations and the examination regulations of the competent body.
After passing the examination, you will receive an examination certificate from the competent body. You can apply for the results of your vocational schooling to be included on the certificate. Upon request, an English and a French translation will also be attached to your certificate.
