Please note that the State Transport Authority (LBV) is responsible in the following cases:

• Application for an express order of the replacement driving licence
• A statutory declaration must be submitted, as there is no loss report from the German police (driving license must be collected in person from the state transport authority).
• Loss of further vehicle documents
• Handing in a recovered driver's license (in person or by registered mail)
• Request for a copy of the index card by the responsible authority
